Communion

Also known as the Lord’s Supper, communion is a symbolic act that demonstrates the doctrine of substitution. Christ died in our place for our sins and rose again, and partaking in communion is a way of proclaiming Christ’s death until He returns. Our church holds communion at the end of the service on the last Sunday of each month to obey Scriptures and remember what Christ has done for us.

1 Corinthians 11:26 “For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.”

Serve Sunday

The Bible tells us to, through love, serve one another. We are dedicated to serving our church family, the community of Gallatin county, and the nations across the globe. One way we serve locally is through our Serve Sundays. Every fifth Sunday of the month, we get together after the worship and message for a quick meal and service projects. These projects can vary based off of the needs of the community. In the past we have repairs homes/fences, collected trash along the highway, taken up donations from local grocery stores, delivered supplies and furniture, and more. Our scheduled Serve Sundays in 2025 are on March 30, June 29, August 31, November 30. If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, please contact us through email.

Mission Trips

One way that we serve the nations across the globe is through short term mission trips. Currently, we only have one upcoming mission trip that will be in partnership with Emmanuel Baptist Church (Billings).

September 11-16, 2025 (Ecuador)
EBC will be working with Compassion International and visiting a church they built in 2020. This trip is led by EMB Pastor Steve Lortz and his wife, Julie. Minimum people requirement is 15 people, but no more than 25. Cost is $3,000.

Contact us or go directly to EBC’s website for more information and a trip application.

Events

We host several seasonal events as a way to meet and connect with the community. Each of our events are free and open to public. Our next upcoming event will be our Easter outreach on April 19th. Join us for egg hunts for all age groups, bounce houses, refreshments, and prizes! Each family that registers will be entered into the drawing for our door prizes. Families that pre-register will receive an extra entry! Prizes include a Nintendo Switch, a hoverboard, a TV, and more! We hope you’ll spread the word and join us!
